Jimmy McGhie's ninth Edinburgh solo show is a revamp of last year's critically acclaimed Need(y), which was essentially a lot of sprightly whinging and polished existential angst. He only started writing it in June and it got 4 stars in the Scotsman, now it's even better! What do you do with a second class arts degree? Have a lot of fun, travel the world and end up living in your sister's attic. An analogue man in a digital world, marooned as a bachelor amongst a sea of marriages, mortgages and kids. Jimmy continues to steer clear of anything too serious in life and tries not to step on an...

"With a tripod, a clothes hanger and an overcoat, Cora Todd, an emerging Scottish performance artist creates a dark, humorous and unsettling performance that is unlike any other I've seen" M Sherin (Rose Bruford). A nostalgic view of a 1950's relationship through not so rose tinted spectacles, Object of Desire is a performance like no other. This unique, one woman show blends comedy and drama with authentic and contemporary elements that will leave you questioning issues of consent, relationships and sexism that still resonate today. Cora incorporates music, movement and puppetry to object ...

Critically acclaimed idiot Olaf Falafel is back once again like a renegade master. If you've been to any of his previous shows you'll know exactly what to expect - inventive jokes and stupid comedic leftfieldery all held together with the flimsiest of narrative structures. "Absurdity so well-crafted that silly doesn't do it justice" (Evening Standard). ‘A wonderful hour of professional silliness’ (List). ‘A barrage of absurdist humour and sharp one-liners’ (EdFringeReview.com). ‘Olaf Falafel is an idiot, and wouldn’t have it any other way’ (Steve Bennett, Chortle.co.uk). ‘Re...

Hello! My name is Edd Hedges, I'm a comedian and I do storytelling style comedy shows, I've done two before and they both went pretty well. I was invited to do a run at the prestigious SOHO Theatre (fancy) and I got to go to and perform in Australia. I'm coming back to the fringe with my third hour. It's another story, but this one is a bit different. This show is about a lot of things. It's hard to explain but ultimately it's about two people. A 74 year old man in Essex sitting in his garden in 1999 and a 24 year old, standing on a beach on the other side of the planet in 2018. This show is a...
