Bar 50 has been designated as a neurodiversity friendly space this year - what does this mean?
Well of course all spaces should be neurodiversity friendly, but Bar 50 this year is going to have a particular focus and part of that will be the availability of a qualified counsellor from threadUp CIC (threadup.co.uk), a counselling service that specialises in creatives.
Counsellor and founder Rafaela Nunes will be around at various points during the Fringe having informal chats with fringe creatives and on Monday 12th August 1-3pm and Tuesday 13th 10-11am she will be available at Bar 50 in the Alcove for lengthier discussions individually or in small groups, anything to give you mental health support for the challenges you may experience at the Fringe or beyond (whether you're neurodiverse or not!).
If you prefer, you can arrange with Rafaela a confidential and free online 30min therapeutic discussion during the whole of August; please email rafaela@threadup.co.uk
