Jakob Kerkhove started doing comedy in Barcelona right before the pandemic hit (so he's both smart and lucky). Once Covid started to give up its attempts to conquer the world, he emerged more and more as a writer, storyteller, and amateur comedian. At the beginning of 2023, he kicked in a door at a bar in Barcelona's Eixample and started the now well-established open mic “Jokes & Beers”.
