#1 Mexican in Estonia

In her first solo stand-up, Ana Falcon reveals what life is like when you are the #1 Mexican in Estonia (not counting the good taco lady, the guy that speaks Estonian or the girl on TV!). The show examines Ana's obsession with being #1, an unachievable quest that took her to move to a tiny country sandwiched between Finland (yay!) and Russia (oh-no!).

"#1 Mexican in Estonia" premiered at the 2024 Tallinn Fringe Festival to rave reviews:

"A deliberate, meticulous storyteller, Falcon models what comedy can look like when identity is not a punchline or a source of division, but a perspective from which we view the same life experiences — the specific in the universal." - Laurie Hayes, SourcreamAndDill.com.

She is a founding member of Pussy Jam Comedy, an Estonian stand-up collective dedicated to providing stage access to FLINTA voices (lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender). She has performed in Mexico, Estonia, Finland, Portugal, the UK, and Latvia. She recently won the "Roast Battle 2024" in Estonia, a competition among top local comedians.

Before her rising stand-up career, she was an accomplished screenwriter, with her works screening at over 100 film festivals. Falcon has been recognized in her native Mexico with a National Endowment for Culture and Arts Youth Creator Grant (2017) and two Nuevo Leon State Awards for Best Screenplay (2011, 2014).
