Aussies Abroad consists of Kyle Dolan, Anno Gomes and Jon Walpole - three rising stars of Australian Comedy. After appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival, they travel to Edinburgh to perform a split hour of comedy.


Kyle Dolan is a comedian & producer with experience across film and live comedy. He hosts Liars & Clowns: A Late Night Comedy Show, which sold out shows at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe and received 5 star reviews. In August 2022, the show toured to the Edinburgh Fringe, where it sold out shows at the Assembly Rooms. He studied filmmaking at the Screen Academy Scotland, in Edinburgh and has since returned to Australia to create new work.


Anno Gomes is a stand-up comedian from the continent of Australia with several years of experience performing in various countries. He has performed in a total of 12 countries including at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Anno can also be seen performing at comedy clubs in London and other parts of the UK. He has been nominated for Best Newcomer at Adelaide Comedy and is a RAW Comedy SA Finalist. Anno has also performed stand-up on the Romanian TV show Standup Revolution. His comedy routines have been described as "funny" and "very funny" by audiences everywhere.


Jon Walpole is a rubber-faced, long-limbed character comedian who has been described as “one of Australia’s most promising comedians”, “the man of a thousand faces” and “crazy and freaky” by a grade 4 classmate. Sketch, stand-up, improv, clown, music, you name it! Jon can spell all of these words.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
