45-Minute Song Contest for Kids

Have you ever wanted to be in a band? Sing karaoke? Write your own songs? In this show, award-winning educator and comedian Steph DePrez invites children of all ages to explore how much you can do with your own voice. We’ll discover how many ways there are to sing, and you can even jump on stage and join the band. The show culminates with the audience helping Steph to write a brand new song.

Steph DePrez is an educator, voice teacher, and choral director from Los Angeles. She was awarded the Rotary Club of Palm Springs Spirit of Service in Education Award in 2015 and has directed school choirs, church choirs, and childrens choirs. She’s currently based in Berlin where she performs as an opera singer and stand-up comedian.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
