50 Shades of Ty Gray

Ty contains multitudes. Comedian, teacher, traveller, friend, "party yogi" (Fringefeed, 2024). When he figures out what the other 45 shades are, he'll update this bio.

Ty has spent the past year performing around the world, teaching to pay bills, dancing on tables, breaking up, making up, and most importantly, writing jokes. This is 50 minutes and 50 shades of the best he's got to offer you from this trip around the sun.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.

News and Reviews for this Show

August 31, 2025    One4Review

In a very compact venue, usually a karaoke room, Ty Gray sets out his stall and delivers a great performance in his one man show, “50 Shades of Ty Gray”. This young Aussie is no shrinking violet, his material is very funny indeed, he’s a natural storyteller and an incredibly likeable guy. He has great interaction with the crowd and his tales from across the world keep us interested in hearing more.

He’s a bit of a party animal, picking up teaching jobs to fund his social life and bad habits. Now he’s turned to comedy, he’s got a sack load of material to share. His stories are well crafted, and very well thought through, and the smallish crowd are having a great time with him.

His experiences on those pesky dating apps throw up many a situation for him to manoeuvre. He may have once been a small-town boy, but he has the confidence of a much more seasoned comedian. Ty has great affinity with his audience, and there’s a natural charm about him, evidenced by how he recounts his stories and experiences.

Ty Gray is one to watch, he’s got a very promising career in comedy ahead of him but this Aussie needs a bigger space to perform next time around. Click Here For Review
