Clean Cuts

Clean Cuts is a clean and incisive hour of stand-up comedy from Indian American comic Alingon Mitra, making his Edinburgh Fringe debut.

With over a decade of experience and credits including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Daily Show, and Last Comic Standing, Alingon delivers tightly written comedy that balances intelligence with accessibility. The show draws on cultural observation, politics, and everyday absurdities, moving easily between big-picture ideas and small, relatable frustrations.

As an Indian American comedian, Alingon brings a point of view that feels both specific and widely relatable. The material explores identity, modern life, and the strange effort of trying to understand the world as it currently exists, without resorting to ranting, cynicism, or easy targets.

Clean Cuts is ideal for audiences who enjoy smart comedy without pretension, and sharp writing without aggression. Thoughtful, funny, and consistently accessible, it’s an hour designed to make people laugh hard while still giving them something to chew on.
