Ashwin Srinivas (Not Romesh) is a comedian from India whose sharp observational humour has earned him over 30 million views across Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. After performing more than 1,000 shows across India and internationally, including appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, he brings his latest stand-up show, Chosen One, to Glasgow for a special Edinburgh Fringe preview.

Covering everything from tech life and relationships to travel, cultural confusion, and the daily chaos of being an overthinking adult, Ashwin’s comedy is clean, relatable, and packed with unexpected twists.

This exclusive work-in-progress showcase features brand-new material before it heads to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Whether you’re an immigrant, engineer, corporate survivor, frequent traveller, or simply trying to

make sense of modern life, you’ll probably see a little too much of yourself in these jokes.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
